What is BlueSaver shipping? To put it simply it is that no matter what you purchase via the BlueStem Winery website, the shipping expense is a flat $7.95. Nothing else! We know some of you out there love our WinExpert and Cellar Craft wines so whether you order one kit, two kits or even more and whether or not you add in some other items for your wine making at home or for your home brewing needs, the shipping is still $7.95. Unfortunately, we can offer only BlueSaver shipping in the lower 48 continental United States. Read below for shipping information if you are an international purchaser or are from Puerto Rico, Alaska or Hawaii.
BlueStem ships via FedEx with the option to ship
lighter packages via the postal service. All shipments to international addresses are through
the postal service. INTERNATIONAL purchases and purchases from ALASKA, HAWAII, PUERTO RICO and APO/FPO addresses should e-mail
prior to purchase as additional postal and insurance expense will
apply.
All purchases made from international locations will require payment via MoneyGram or payment in United States dollars sent via registered mail. DO NOT make your purchases via the website. Instead, you should e-mail your order to BlueStem so that shipping expense can be computed and a total for your purchase plus delivery can be determined. BlueStem will then provide you with instructions as to how to make payment via MoneyGram (or, if you prefer, via cash sent by registered mail).
International purchasers (or those from AK, HI or PR) who purchase via the website will be responsible for obtaining a refund of monies paid through their card issuer.
All packages shipped via FedEx will require a signature upon
delivery with the following exceptions: A) If purchaser requests that a
signature NOT be obtained at delivery, then purchaser voluntarily waives their
right to claim non-delivery or theft prior to their taking physical possession
of the package; or B) Purchaser may provide a business address to ship to which
must include the name of the business, the street address (no post office
boxes), the city, state and zip. Please let us know via e-mail if you desire to have your package shipped without a signature required at delivery. On a first time order from our website, we will contact you to verify your signature preference and will file this information so as not to delay future purchaes.
Please be sure to provide the correct
shipping address. You (the customer) are responsible for any re-direction /
re-delivery fees. If shipping is through FedEx, we will require a physical
address (no rural route or post office box addresses). If notified that your
rural address does not have a physical address, we will ship to a rural route
address at your risk.
BlueStem Winery takes pride in its ability to
package its products for safe delivery. In the event that a package arrives
with any of the contents damaged, BlueStem will file a damage claim with FedEx
or the post office. You (the customer) are responsible for retaining the
packing carton, all packing materials and the damaged item(s) pending a
possible inspection request by either FedEx or the postal service. Damage
claims must be submitted to BlueStem Winery within 5 days of package delivery.
